🖼 ONE LINE FROM THIS PAINTING

"What does a single bird, alighted on a slender branch, trust in?"

📝ONGO's Reflection

This painting holds, with spare simplicity, a single bird alighted on the tip of a thin branch. It came from the Chinese bird-and-flower tradition, yet the quiet hour of a small bird settles any heart. I see here a composure upon a swaying perch. The branch sways in the wind, but the bird does not fear falling. What the bird relies on is not the firmness of the branch but its own wings, ready to fly at any moment. People too are easily seized by unease when the ground underfoot sways. But true stability comes not from the place but from the strength within.
