🖼 ONE LINE FROM THIS PAINTING

"When many in one boat row in time, what is it that pushes the boat forward?"

📝ONGO's Reflection

This anonymous Chinese painting holds the lively scene of a dragon-head boat race at the Dano festival. The many in one boat row all at once, keeping time to the drum. However strong a person may be, alone he cannot make that great boat go forward. The principle of rowing in time together is the same in any land. Here I see the power of union. When the many row apart, the boat only sways in place. Only when the beat is made one does the boat at last cut through the current. To go together, a shared rhythm comes before each one's strength.

🌱Apply It Today

In work done together, rather than putting your own pace first, try once to keep to the group's beat.
