🖼 ONE LINE FROM THIS PAINTING

"What does a landscape with people painted small wish to tell us?"

📝ONGO's Reflection

This Chinese landscape by an unknown hand places people very small beneath a vast mountain. Before the immensity of nature, a human becomes a single point. The people were painted small not to speak of helplessness but to awaken us to the fact that we are set within a larger current. The awareness that I am small is the beginning of humility. When we accept that we are small beings within a vast world, we instead set down our greed and gain peace of heart.
