"What weight lies in the daily tasks that continue in silence?"
📝ONGO's Reflection
This is a genre painting in which Yun Deok-hui rendered a woman's daily life with quiet composure. Without any grand event, a single scene of keeping house is calmly set upon the canvas. In this painting I see the weight of labor that does not show. The work that upholds a household is not applauded but repeated each day. Yet without that repetition, no life rolls forward. That the painter set the day of an ordinary woman upon canvas is because he knew that daily life holds worth enough.

Do not forget, but recognize, the labor of someone who upholds daily life each day without showing it.
