"Why was so vast a procession needed to set one person in place?"
📝ONGO's Reflection
This is a procession record that documents, rank by rank, the rite of investing the crown prince. The rising of one person to a place is not the affair of that one alone. Banners, palanquins, and the footsteps of countless people line up to carry him to his place. To rise to a place means to stand upon the order of that many people. In this procession I see weight. The higher one climbs, the more one must be able to count the footsteps that bore one up. A place that forgets this is like a palanquin standing alone, without a procession.

Take a moment to count the footsteps of those who bore up the place you have reached, and send your thanks to even one of them.
