📜 THE VERSE

Rise up! Breath, and life, have reached us once more. Darkness withdraws, and light draws near. The dawn has opened wide the path of the sun.

❓ TODAY'S QUESTION

Do I drag yesterday's darkness into today, or begin again with the new breath this morning gave?

📝Reflection

'Rise up, darkness withdraws and light comes' — this cry wakes one from sleep and, at once, wakes the heart. Each dawn comes not only to the world but to me, as a chance to wash off yesterday's mistakes and darkness and begin again. However heavy last night was, morning brings new breath without fail. I often forget this regular mercy: do not keep lying where you fell. Light has come, so rise. Each new morning always says, 'you may begin again.'

🌱Apply It Today

If you still blame yourself for one of yesterday's mistakes, say aloud this morning, 'that was yesterday; today is new breath,' and rise.
