The Rubaiyat
Are you missing the wine of this moment by worrying about a tomorrow that hasn't arrived?
📝ONGO's Reflection
Khayyam, the Persian poet who was also an astronomer and mathematician, knew better than anyone how fleeting human life is before the universe. Reading his poems, I come to see how foolish it is to regret yesterday or to fear a tomorrow that has not come. His voice — "savor this very moment" — is no simple hedonism. It is a fierce philosophical declaration that, before death we cannot escape, the only truth we can hold is the "here and now" alone.
"Dead yesterdays and unborn tomorrows, why fret about it, if today be sweet!"Omar Khayyam, The Rubaiyat
"어제는 이미 죽었고 내일은 아직 오지 않았으니, 오직 오늘을 마시고 즐기라."

At your next meal, switch off all thoughts of past and future, and give your full attention to nothing but the taste and aroma of the food.
