🖼 ONE LINE FROM THIS PAINTING

"What does the empty space between mist-laden mountain and water hold?"

📝ONGO's Reflection

This is a Chinese landscape by an unknown painter, in which a broad emptiness lies vacant between mountain and water. That empty place, whether mist or water, takes up half the surface. My heart goes to this emptying. The place left vacant rather than filled instead makes the painting deep and serene. The empty place is not a lacking place but a breathing place. Only with a fittingly emptied space does the heart rest and roam there. To know how to empty is a hard wisdom too.

🌱Apply It Today

Do not try to fill everything without a gap; leave one space of emptiness where the heart may rest.
