🖼 ONE LINE FROM THIS PAINTING

"What was meant by writing large and leaving behind a single character for shame?"

📝ONGO's Reflection

This calligraphy sets upon the paper, written large, the character meaning shame. Not a word to boast of, but a word that looks back upon oneself, was deliberately given to the brush. I see here a refusal to turn away from shame. People remember their good deeds long and hurry to erase the shameful ones. Yet the old one hung that feeling on the wall and faced it each day. It is precisely a heart that knows shame that makes the next step true. This is not self-reproach but the compass of one who would live better.

Rather than covering over what shamed you, settle on just one thing there to set right.
