옥계사십이승첩 중 가교보월(駕橋步月)
🖼 ONE LINE FROM THIS PAINTING

"What does the step that strolls across a bridge beneath the moon enjoy?"

📝ONGO's Reflection

One scene from an album gathering the fine sights of the Okgye area, this is Gagyobowol, holding the view of strolling across a bridge by moonlight. Upon the still water the moonlight has settled. In this leisurely step I see the art of enjoyment. The same bridge, crossed in haste, is merely a passage, but walked slowly, it becomes time spent with the moonlight for a companion. A landscape gives itself only to one who stops and gazes. Only when hurry is set down does an ordinary path become a stroll of quiet grace.
