북관유적도첩 중 야연사준도(夜宴射樽圖)
🖼 ONE LINE FROM THIS PAINTING

"What does the bearing of taking up a bow even at a night banquet tell us?"

📝ONGO's Reflection

One scene from an album painting old traces of the Bukgwan region, it holds the tale of striking a wine jar with an arrow at a night feast. Beneath the torchlight, tension and revelry flow together. Here I see a spirit that does not loosen even amid pleasure. The more comfortable the gathering, the more easily one lets the heart go slack. Yet the one who does not lose his posture even in that moment is the one who finally earns trust. The bow at the banquet is not martial skill but the emblem of a firmness that never lets go of the spirit, in any place.
