🖼 ONE LINE FROM THIS PAINTING

"What heart did this world of orderly stacked shelves hold?"

📝ONGO's Reflection

This is a chaekgado folding screen, a scholar's shelves and vessels drawn in orderly fashion across eight panels. Compartment by compartment, books, porcelain, and writing implements take their places without a gap. In this structure I see a will to govern the mind. To set up one's own order within a disordered world is to compose the spirit. The arranged shelves are no mere ornament but a mirror reflecting the inner self of one who would not fall into disarray. To put the outside in order touches upon the governing of the inside.

🌱Apply It Today
