A Doll's House
Do we have the courage to break the cage called love to exist entirely as ourselves?
📝ONGO's Reflection
In the final scene, the sound of Nora slamming the door behind her rang out like the crack of old conventions breaking apart inside me. The way she refuses to live as a sweet "doll" within the illusion of a cozy home, and arrives at her awakening as a single independent human being, unfolds with breathtaking force. It reminds me that true selfhood sometimes begins with the resolve to throw open the most familiar, most comforting world and walk out of it. It makes me want to break the cage of myself, bound to the expectations of others.
