Letters to a Young Poet
Can you bring yourself to love the unresolved questions that reside deep within your heart?
📝ONGO's Reflection
This book, gathering Rilke's replies to a young man of twenty-two anxious over his calling and his talent, felt as though it had been written for me. We are always in a rush to find the right answer. But Rilke counsels: love the questions themselves, like locked rooms or like books written in an unfamiliar tongue. Do not strain to seize the answers; live along with the questions, and one day you will find yourself living your way into the answer. Whenever I lose my direction and grow impatient, I lean on these tender sentences and stand still, catching my breath.
"Have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves."Rainer Maria Rilke, Letters to a Young Poet
"마음속의 풀리지 않는 모든 것에 대해 인내심을 가지십시오. 질문 그 자체를 사랑하려고 노력하십시오."

If a worry that won't resolve is troubling you right now, don't force a conclusion. Instead, write the question in your notebook and practice quietly holding it in your heart.
