Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus
Are the limits of our language the limits of our world?
📝ONGO's Reflection
When I first opened this thin, difficult book, I was captivated by the cold beauty of its propositions, arranged like mathematical formulas. Wittgenstein boldly cuts away the philosophical errors that arise when we strain to speak of what cannot be spoken. Once the boundary of the world that language can hold is drawn, paradoxically the place of all that is mysterious and precious beyond it stands out more sharply.
"Whereof one cannot speak, thereof one must be silent."Ludwig Wittgenstein, Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus
"말할 수 없는 것에 대해서는 침묵해야 한다."
🌱Apply It Today
When expressing a complex emotion or thought today, drop your habitual vague words and find the language that captures your exact state most precisely.
