Those Who Sow Peace Reap Righteousness
The fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
What did I sow today—the seed of strife, or the seed of peace?
📝Reflection
James likens peace to a seed. The seed of peace sown today grows, in time, into the fruit of righteousness. Conversely, the seed of strife sown today returns as greater conflict. This is not morality but the logic of time. Impatient, I have often sown seeds of conflict, then labored later to pull up the weeds. The peacemaker may seem to lose in the moment, but as time passes, they come to own the richest field. Between seed and fruit there is always time.
🌱Apply It Today
Where conflict begins to stir today, plant one seed of peace—a calming word or a step back.
This verse is read as universal humanistic wisdom, not religion — no faith is promoted, and the reflection is 100% original ONGO content.
