DAY 281

Martha, Martha

Luke 10:41-42
기원후 1세기
ORIGINAL
Μάρθα Μάρθα, μεριμνᾷς καὶ τυρβάζῃ περὶ πολλά· ἑνὸς δέ ἐστιν χρεία
📜 THE VERSE

Martha, Martha, you are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is necessary.

❓ TODAY'S QUESTION

In today's busyness, am I missing the one thing that actually matters most?

📝Reflection

Martha was busy in the kitchen preparing for her guest, while Mary simply sat and listened. Martha's labor was not wasted. But her mind, entirely consumed by busyness, missed the very presence of the guest she was serving. We too often grow busy in the name of caring for someone, only to lose the moment of actually being with them. The desire to do well can end up hiding the one thing that matters most.

🌱Apply It Today

Before busying yourself for someone today, pause first and simply be present with them.
