Look at the Birds of the Air
Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor store away in barns, yet they live.
In preparing for tomorrow, have I forgotten how to fully live today?
📝Reflection
A bird sings every morning without a barn. We fill barn after barn and forget how to sing. This contrast is not a call to abandon preparation, but a question about life's ordering. Preparation is necessary. But the moment preparation mortgages the whole of life, we lose the very today we were meant to live. Looking at the birds means learning, now and then, the plain fact that existence itself is already enough.
🌱Apply It Today
This morning, spend five minutes watching the sky or listening to birdsong, for no reason at all.
This verse is read as universal humanistic wisdom, not religion — no faith is promoted, and the reflection is 100% original ONGO content.
