DAY 82

To Keep from Strife Is Honor

Proverbs 20:3
기원전 10~6세기 편집 (히브리 지혜문학)
ORIGINAL
כָּבוֹד לָאִישׁ שֶׁבֶת מֵרִיב וְכָל־אֱוִיל יִתְגַּלָּע
📜 THE VERSE

It is an honor to keep away from strife, but every fool is quick to quarrel.

❓ TODAY'S QUESTION

Needing to win, am I stepping into fights I never had to join?

📝Reflection

There was a time I had to win to feel settled. Yet looking back on the wins, most were fights that cost more than they gained. This verse calls keeping away from strife an honor. Stepping back is not losing but the discernment to see what is not worth fighting. The strength to pass by a fight you need not join — that is a grown person's bearing.

🌱Apply It Today

When a quarrel starts today, first ask, "Is this worth winning?" If not, simply walk on.
