DAY 94

Buy Truth and Do Not Sell It

Proverbs 23:23
기원전 10~6세기 편집 (히브리 지혜문학)
ORIGINAL
אֱמֶת קְנֵה וְאַל־תִּמְכֹּר חָכְמָה וּמוּסָר וּבִינָה
📜 THE VERSE

Buy truth and do not sell it; get wisdom, discipline, and understanding.

❓ TODAY'S QUESTION

For comfort's sake, have I ever quietly sold off a truth I knew?

📝Reflection

Truth is bought at a price; it does not come for free. Yet there are moments when we sell what was so hard to gain cheaply, for a little comfort. This verse says buy it but do not sell it. Wisdom and discernment, once let go, are hard to buy again. To live by what you know though it is uncomfortable, to stand with the truth though it costs — that is the only way to keep what you paid a price to own.

🌱Apply It Today

When you're tempted to blur the truth for comfort today, speak it as you know it — just once.
