William Shakespeare
What mask did I wear today, and what face was underneath?
📝ONGO's Reflection
Shakespeare is great because he drew kings and fools with equal depth. On his stage, Hamlet's anguish and the jester's joke carry the same weight. He was a man captivated by the human species itself. We tend to fall into one of two traps: living our lives too seriously or too lightly. Shakespeare shows how to do both at once — to crack a joke in the middle of tragedy, and to hide a blade behind the funniest scene. Life is two-sided just like that.
