This is an anonymous Yuan-dynasty Chinese painting, holding a bird perched on a branch hung with lychee fruit. The ripened fruit and the small bird blend together fondly. In this scene I see the harvest at the end of waiting. For the fruit to set on the branch took the flowers of spring and the sunlight of summer.
