🖼 ONE LINE FROM THIS PAINTING

"What do a peacock's fully spread feathers show us?"

📝ONGO's Reflection

This is a Japanese painting of a peacock by Kishi Ganku. The peacock has spread its splendid feathers wide. I look quietly into this spreading. The peacock's feathers are most beautiful when spread to the fullest, yet that splendor is a brief moment. In its ordinary days the peacock lives with those heavy feathers quietly folded. A person too cannot always be on display. There is weight in knowing when to shine and when to fold. The figure one cuts while folded is that person's true ground.

🌱Apply It Today

Do not strain always to be on display; compose quietly, first of all, the self you are while folded.
