산수도(山水圖)
🖼 ONE LINE FROM THIS PAINTING

"Where does a scene filled only with mountain and water carry the one who looks?"

📝ONGO's Reflection

This landscape is made of mountain, water, and the empty space between them. Though drawn in the Japanese landscape tradition, the heart that grows small before mountain and water is the same anywhere. I see here a space that deepens by being left empty. The mist unpainted and the bare sky widen the scene instead. Because not everything is filled in, there comes a place for the viewer to walk inside. A life is the same. Pack it solid with words and tasks, and there is no place left to stay, no place to breathe. Emptiness is not lack but room.

🌱Apply It Today

Rather than packing your schedule solid, deliberately leave empty time with nothing set in it.
