四季山水図
"What does the heart that seeks to hold four seasons in one frame speak of?"
📝ONGO's Reflection
This is a landscape of the four seasons by the Japanese painter Keison, in which the flow from spring to winter spreads across the frame. The quiet charm of Japanese ink painting runs through it, yet its realization is the same in any land. In this painting I see a gaze that embraces change at a single glance. See only one season and it seems the whole; set the four side by side and you know none is eternal. After the cold comes spring, and after lushness the leaves fall. Knowing the flow, one is not bound to any single moment.
🌱Apply It Today
Even when the present season is hard, endure it, recalling that this too is but a moment that will soon pass.
