📜 THE VERSE

One who was once heedless but later grows heedful lights up this world, like the moon freed from clouds.

❓ TODAY'S QUESTION

Because of past lapses, have I forgotten that I can shine again?

📝Reflection

The comfort of this verse runs deep: even one who was once heedless and scattered can wake again — and not merely recover, but shine all the brighter, like the moon freed from clouds. We bind ourselves to past mistakes: I was lazy once, I collapsed once, so that is who I am. But the moon is not ashamed of its time behind clouds. When they lift, it simply shines again. Perhaps the light that has passed through dark hours feels all the more precious. A late awakening is infinitely better than none. The fact that you have been clouded until now in no way means you cannot brighten from now on.
