DAY 269

A Sower Went Out to Sow

📜 THE VERSE

A farmer went out to sow his seed.

❓ TODAY'S QUESTION

Do I only sow where the outcome is guaranteed, or do I sow first and see?

📝Reflection

The farmer did not first appraise the soil before sowing. He sowed generously on the path, on rocky ground, among thorns, and on good soil alike. This opening line already reveals an attitude — generosity. Not a calculating hand that hoards seed for guaranteed returns, but a hand that scatters everywhere. We often fear failure and pour effort only into sure things. But good soil cannot be known until the seed has been sown.
