DAY 24

Ponder the Path of Your Feet

Proverbs 4:26
기원전 10~4세기
ORIGINAL
פַּלֵּס מַעְגַּל רַגְלֶךָ וְכָל־דְּרָכֶיךָ יִכֹּנוּ
📜 THE VERSE

Ponder the path of your feet, and all your ways will be firm.

❓ TODAY'S QUESTION

Without pondering where I am headed, am I just walking because others walk?

📝Reflection

Many walk in a hurry, yet never ask where they are going. The Hebrew verb here means to weigh, as if measuring on a scale. Before setting down your foot, weigh the road it lands on. If the direction is wrong, the faster you go, the further astray you drift. When Socrates said the unexamined life is not worth living, he spoke of exactly this pondering. Walking rightly comes before walking hard. The time spent pausing to check your path is not waste but the cornerstone that sets every remaining road firm.

🌱Apply It Today

Before starting your day, ask just once: 'Does today's step match the direction I mean to go?'
