📝ONGO's Reflection

This is an anonymous Chinese landscape in which the firmness of the mountain and the flow of the water blend within one frame. The long-held aesthetic of Chinese landscape painting is in it, yet its realization is the same in any land. In this painting I see the harmony of stillness and flow. The mountain holds its place and the water moves ceaselessly, yet only when the two meet is a single scene completed. What stands firm in place and what changes as it flows uphold each other. In life too, there must be both what to keep and what to let pass.
