🖼 ONE LINE FROM THIS PAINTING

"What does a scene blending grand palaces with landscape convey?"

📝ONGO's Reflection

This is a painting from the Ming dynasty by an unknown hand, holding pavilions and a palace within a landscape. The splendid buildings raised by people are wholly cradled in the mountains and water of nature. Though it came from the tradition of Chinese painting, its structure carries anywhere. I see, in this scene, the harmony of people and nature. However grand, a palace is but one part within the landscape, not defying nature but nestling in its embrace. What people achieve is great, yet before nature one must be humble. When one takes one's place within nature rather than contending with it, what is human, too, finally shines long.

Though what you have achieved is great, do not forget humility before nature and the greater flow.
