🖼 ONE LINE FROM THIS PAINTING

"What does the descent of the Buddha who governs starlight illuminate?"

📝ONGO's Reflection

It is a scene of the Buddha said to preside over the movement of the stars descending together with light. A radiance coming down into the darkness unfolds reverently across the surface. The composition of light coming toward the darkest place speaks the truth that where light is needed is the very place of darkness. Just as stars are seen only at night, some awakenings reveal themselves only in the darkest of times. Darkness is not the absence of light but the background that allows light to be recognized.
