This work is handed down as calligraphy associated with Chusa Kim Jeong-hui. Its full history is unclear, yet in the thickness of the brush and the handling of empty space the traces of long discipline are steeped. I recall the old saying that the writing is the person. A single stroke is drawn in one breath, but for that one breath, decades of the hand must accumulate. The more something appears swift, the longer the unseen time hidden behind it. Skill, in the end, is the mark left by repetition.
