Birds and Flowers

🖼 ONE LINE FROM THIS PAINTING

"What is the reason for holding birds and flowers together in a single picture?"

📝ONGO's Reflection

In this painting I see birds and flowers holding each other up. The bird finds a place to rest upon the flower, and the flower, with the bird settled on it, finally steps into the center of the picture. The folk bird-and-flower painting was made less with brilliant skill than with a fond and gentle heart. I feel a hand that prayed for blessing and harmony rather than one greedy to paint well. Life is the same. Rather than straining to shine alone, my own place becomes clear when I hold up something beside me.

🌱Apply It Today

Remembering that holding someone up is itself the making of my own place, look closely at the person beside you today.
