DAY 35

Even the Wise Move According to Their Nature

Bhagavad Gītā 3:33

📜 THE VERSE

Even the wise act in accord with their own nature. All beings follow their nature — what use is forcing it down?

❓ TODAY'S QUESTION

Am I worn out from straining to become like others, forcing down my own grain?

📝Reflection

I read this verse as a gentle invitation to make peace with myself. However wise one grows, the inborn grain remains, and forcing it down to become like others only breeds trouble. This is not a call to abandon effort, but to spend no strength denying myself and instead to govern my grain well and put it to use. It runs with the wisdom of water at its best — flowing downward by its nature, benefiting all things. Rather than straining to remake myself by force, I acknowledge my grain and refine myself upon it.

🌱Apply It Today

If you blame yourself today for differing from others, instead of suppressing that difference, consider how to put it to good use.
