All Realms Arise from the Mind
Look into the nature of all realms: everything is fashioned by mind alone.
The weight pressing on me now — is it from outside, or did my mind build it?
📝Reflection
This verse is easily mistaken for escapism — "the world is illusion, so do not mind it." But Huayan means nearly the opposite. If the world is made by mind, then I bear responsibility for the making. Fear, resentment, expectation are not arrows flown in from outside but a structure I raised brick by brick each day. The authority to tear it down is therefore also mine. Not escape, but the most active declaration of responsibility: I am not a spectator of my world but its architect.
🌱Apply It Today
For one situation that feels heavy today, honestly gauge: "What share of this weight did I add?" Whatever I added, I can also remove.
This verse is read as universal humanistic wisdom, not religion — no faith is promoted, and the reflection is 100% original ONGO content.
