Love Never Fails
Love never fails. Where there are prophecies, they will pass away; where there is knowledge, it will vanish—but love remains.
After time has taken everything else, what will remain in me to the very end?
📝Reflection
Knowledge, talent, fame—all wear thin and scatter before time. I have watched the things I boasted of in youth slip from my hands one by one with age. At the end of that emptiness, Paul points to the one thing that does not fall: love. The Greek piptei means "to collapse," and that verb never attaches to love. Not what you achieved but whom you loved is what remains, to the very last, in a person's life.
🌱Apply It Today
For a moment today, weigh the time you spent on things that will pass against the time you spent on people.
This verse is read as universal humanistic wisdom, not religion — no faith is promoted, and the reflection is 100% original ONGO content.
