DAY 267

Each According to Their Own Ability

Matthew 25:15
기원후 1세기
ORIGINAL
ᾧ μὲν ἔδωκεν πέντε τάλαντα, ᾧ δὲ δύο, ᾧ δὲ ἕν, ἑκάστῳ κατὰ τὴν ἰδίαν δύναμιν
📜 THE VERSE

To one he gave five, to another two, to another one — each according to their own ability.

❓ TODAY'S QUESTION

While comparing my share to others', have I buried what has already been entrusted to me?

📝Reflection

There is no ranking between the one who received five and the one who received one — each was simply given according to their own capacity. The question is not how much one received, but what one did with it. Between someone who received only one and worked hard with it, and someone who received five and buried them, it is clear whose life carried the greater worth. Comparison measures only the vessel, never its use.

🌱Apply It Today

Today, instead of comparing what you have to others, ask only what you can do with it.
