DAY 256

Do Not Worry About Tomorrow

Matthew 6:34
기원후 1세기
ORIGINAL
μὴ οὖν μεριμνήσητε εἰς τὴν αὔριον· ἀρκετὸν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἡ κακία αὐτῆς
📜 THE VERSE

So do not worry about tomorrow. Today's trouble is enough for today.

❓ TODAY'S QUESTION

Am I already crushing today under the weight of a tomorrow that has not yet arrived?

📝Reflection

A day is built to carry only a day's worth of weight. Yet we load yesterday's regret and tomorrow's fear onto today's back as well, and naturally the steps grow heavy carrying three burdens at once. This verse is not a cold time-management tip but a compassionate prescription: carry only what one day can bear. Tomorrow's worry can be left to tomorrow's self — who will have their own strength for it.

🌱Apply It Today

Before sleep tonight, write down one worry about tomorrow, put it in a drawer, and let it go for today.
