DAY 250

Judge Not, Lest You Be Judged

Matthew 7:1
기원후 1세기
ORIGINAL
Μὴ κρίνετε, ἵνα μὴ κριθῆτε
📜 THE VERSE

Do not judge, so that you will not be judged.

❓ TODAY'S QUESTION

The judgment I made today — could I bear it applied equally to myself?

📝Reflection

Judgment is a habit, and habits grow into a measuring stick. The stick we use on others, the world eventually turns on us. I was strict about others' laziness while always finding a reason for my own. Since noticing that unfairness, I have developed the habit of pausing one beat before judging. Not judging does not mean losing the sense of right and wrong — it means holding the same stick to yourself.

🌱Apply It Today

When you feel the urge to judge someone today, apply the same standard to yourself first.
