DAY 286

Ask, Seek, Knock

Matthew 7:7
기원후 1세기
ORIGINAL
Αἰτεῖτε, καὶ δοθήσεται ὑμῖν· ζητεῖτε, καὶ εὑρήσετε· κρούετε, καὶ ἀνοιγήσεται ὑμῖν
📜 THE VERSE

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.

❓ TODAY'S QUESTION

Do I only wish for what I want inside my head, or am I actually asking, seeking, and knocking?

📝Reflection

The three verbs grow progressively more active — asking is done with words, seeking with feet, knocking with hands. Many wishes go unfulfilled not because they were the wrong wishes, but because they stayed inside the mind, never asked, sought, or knocked upon. A door rarely opens on its own. Only by reaching out and knocking can you learn what lies beyond it.
