DAY 65

A Whisper Separates Friends

Proverbs 16:28

📜 THE VERSE

A perverse person stirs up conflict, and a whisperer separates close friends.

❓ TODAY'S QUESTION

Behind someone's back, am I telling their story in a way I could not tell to their face?

📝Reflection

I have watched even the sturdiest bonds crack from a single word spoken behind a back. A whisper is more dangerous than a blade because it makes no noise. It seeps in quietly and silently dismantles trust built over years. When you feel the urge to pass along a word about someone, first consider what it will leave between three people — that restraint is the mouth of a grown adult.

🌱Apply It Today

When you want to pass along a story about someone today, first ask: "Could I say this to their face?"
