DAY 123

Clothed with Strength and Dignity

Proverbs 31:25
기원전 10~6세기 편집 (히브리 지혜문학)
ORIGINAL
עֹז־וְהָדָר לְבוּשָׁהּ וַתִּשְׂחַק לְיוֹם אַחֲרוֹן
📜 THE VERSE

Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the days to come.

❓ TODAY'S QUESTION

Am I filling today faithfully, so I can meet the days to come with a laugh?

📝Reflection

There is a person who laughs at the days to come without fear. The figure this verse draws was not born to special luck but filled each day faithfully. Strength and dignity are not clothes thrown on overnight but a grain built long and worn into the body. One who is prepared has no worry. Tomorrow feels anxious mostly because today was let slip. Only the one who has lived today with care can smile calmly before the days ahead.
