DAY 231

To Dwell Together in Harmony

Psalm 133:1
기원전 10~5세기
ORIGINAL
הִנֵּה מַה־טּוֹב וּמַה־נָּעִים שֶׁבֶת אַחִים גַּם־יָחַד
📜 THE VERSE

See how good and how pleasant it is when kindred dwell together in unity.

❓ TODAY'S QUESTION

Among the ties around me, which could I make a little more harmonious today?

📝Reflection

The poet says nothing grand. He simply marvels at how good it is when people dwell together in harmony. We mistake great achievement for happiness, yet the warmth of life comes from the ties beside us — the ordinary togetherness of sharing meals, laughing, quarreling and making up. I long thought climbing high alone was success. But a meal eaten alone at the summit was lonely. The older I grow, the more I see: who is beside you, more than how high you climbed, sets the temperature of a life. Harmony does not come on its own. It is a house built a little each day.

🌱Apply It Today

Today, send one word of greeting first to a tie that has grown distant. Harmony begins with the hand reached out first.
