The Greatest of These Is Love
And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.
Am I letting my faith and hope, in the end, flow into love?
📝Reflection
At the close of the love chapter, Paul leaves three things: faith, hope, and love. The first two are fundamental human powers—trust and waiting—yet he calls love the greatest. Why? Because faith and hope hold me up, but love reaches beyond me to another. It is the insight that flowing out to others is greater than shoring up oneself. This is human language before it is religious language. In the end, a person's size is measured by how far they let their love flow.
🌱Apply It Today
Before the day ends, recall one moment when your faith or expectation flowed into love for someone.
This verse is read as universal humanistic wisdom, not religion — no faith is promoted, and the reflection is 100% original ONGO content.
