Without Love, I Am Nothing
Though I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge, but have no love, I am nothing.
I labor to know more—but how much have I grown in the power to love?
📝Reflection
Knowledge seems to make a person large, but knowledge without love hollows a person out instead. Paul says flatly that one who knows everything, yet has no love, "is nothing." This is not a demand for humility but a cold weighing of worth. As a vessel with no bottom is never filled however much you pour, knowing without loving fills neither oneself nor others. Knowledge is only a tool; the heart that holds it decides the person.
🌱Apply It Today
If today you used what you know to win over someone, try turning that same knowledge toward helping them instead.
This verse is read as universal humanistic wisdom, not religion — no faith is promoted, and the reflection is 100% original ONGO content.
