The same teacher who earlier told us to hide our giving now says the opposite — let your light shine. This is no contradiction. Hide the good deed done to draw attention to yourself; reveal the good deed that spreads goodness to others. If someone sees the honesty I have quietly lived and decides to live that way too, that light is no longer for me — it becomes something for the world.
