DAY 299

Let Your Light Shine Before Others

Matthew 5:16
기원후 1세기
ORIGINAL
λαμψάτω τὸ φῶς ὑμῶν ἔμπροσθεν τῶν ἀνθρώπων, ὅπως ἴδωσιν ὑμῶν τὰ καλὰ ἔργα
📜 THE VERSE

Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds.

❓ TODAY'S QUESTION

Has a quiet good deed of mine ever taught someone else the same kind of goodness?

📝Reflection

The same teacher who earlier told us to hide our giving now says the opposite — let your light shine. This is no contradiction. Hide the good deed done to draw attention to yourself; reveal the good deed that spreads goodness to others. If someone sees the honesty I have quietly lived and decides to live that way too, that light is no longer for me — it becomes something for the world.

🌱Apply It Today

Practice one good habit you have quietly kept, naturally and visibly, where someone else might see it today.
