DAY 274

Forgive, and You Will Be Forgiven

Matthew 6:14
기원후 1세기
ORIGINAL
ἐὰν γὰρ ἀφῆτε τοῖς ἀνθρώποις τὰ παραπτώματα αὐτῶν, ἀφεθήσεται καὶ ὑμῖν
📜 THE VERSE

If you forgive others their wrongs, your own wrongs will be forgiven too.

❓ TODAY'S QUESTION

Do I want understanding for my own mistakes while holding a stricter standard for others' mistakes?

📝Reflection

Forgiveness is not a one-way gift but a circulating principle. If I hold onto others' faults and refuse to let go, that habit of holding eventually applies to my own faults as well. The world tends to treat us the way we treat others. A hand that grips others tightly ends up gripping itself. Forgiveness is mercy toward the other, and at the same time, liberation for oneself.

🌱Apply It Today

Let go today of one fault you have long held against someone. The moment you do, your own shoulders feel lighter.
