DAY 288

Enter Through the Narrow Gate

Matthew 7:13-14
기원후 1세기
ORIGINAL
εἰσέλθατε διὰ τῆς στενῆς πύλης...στενὴ ἡ πύλη καὶ τεθλιμμένη ἡ ὁδὸς
📜 THE VERSE

Enter through the narrow gate. The easy road is wide and crowded, but the true road is narrow, and few walk it.

❓ TODAY'S QUESTION

Have I ever mistaken a road for the right one simply because a crowd was on it?

📝Reflection

The wide road is comfortable for a simple reason: you can be carried along by the crowd without effort. The narrow road requires you to choose every step with your own feet, which is why fewer walk it. But the size of a crowd is no proof of rightness. Sometimes the truest road is the one no one else is walking with you. Enduring that solitude is the price of the narrow gate.

🌱Apply It Today

If today the easy road most people take diverges from the narrow one you believe is right, take one step down the narrow one.
