DAY 289

By Their Fruit You Will Recognize Them

Matthew 7:16-20
기원후 1세기
ORIGINAL
ἀπὸ τῶν καρπῶν αὐτῶν ἐπιγνώσεσθε αὐτούς. μήτι συλλέγουσιν ἀπὸ ἀκανθῶν σταφυλάς;
📜 THE VERSE

By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?

❓ TODAY'S QUESTION

Do I trust someone's words, or do I look at the actual fruit they have produced?

📝Reflection

Anyone can dress up their words to sound convincing. But the true nature of a tree eventually shows in its fruit. No matter how hard it tries, a thornbush cannot produce grapes. People are the same. The grain of long-observed behavior, the pattern of repeated results, tells the true nature of a person. One accumulated fruit is far more honest evidence than one convincing sentence.

🌱Apply It Today

When judging someone today, look first at the results they have produced, not their words.
