DAY 80

Listen to Advice and Grow Wise

Proverbs 19:20
기원전 10~6세기 편집 (히브리 지혜문학)
ORIGINAL
שְׁמַע עֵצָה וְקַבֵּל מוּסָר לְמַעַן תֶּחְכַּם בְּאַחֲרִיתֶךָ
📜 THE VERSE

Listen to advice and accept instruction, that you may be wise in the end.

❓ TODAY'S QUESTION

Do I treat the one who speaks hard truth to me as an enemy?

📝Reflection

Pleasant words make me feel good; unpleasant ones make me grow. When young I did not know that order, and kept my distance from those who spoke hard truths. Wisdom does not arrive overnight. You swallow advice again and again, and only later realize it shaped you. The words grating on my ears now may be the pillar that holds me up years from now.

🌱Apply It Today

If someone gave you hard words today, do not defend — just weigh, "Is there truth in it?"
